Confidentiality policy at the Regents Park Clinic
You can be assured that the information you give during your visit to the Regent’s Park Clinic is treated entirely confidentially as required by law. Files, both written and electronic, are kept securely and only viewed by authorised medical personnel responsible for their safe and effective care.
No information relating to you will be divulged to a third party without your express permission. Any information used for surveillance, service planning, commission and clinical audit will be provided only in anonymised form so as not to disclose your identity.
You are welcome to use a false name if it makes you feel more comfortable during your treatment and in any subsequent contact with the Clinic. All tests, results and treatments are prescribed based on your Clinical Number and not your name to ensure accuracy and fail-safe security of care.
We aim to provide an atmosphere of professional yet sympathetic treatment in a relaxed and friendly environment which promotes best practice in the area of sexual health and well being. Doctor-Patient confidentiality is at the core of everything we do.
